    MediaTek Imagiq 2.0 incorporates advanced camera features that bring fantastic photo and video capture effects to affordable smartphones.

    Its 13+13MP dual‑camera system supports a variety of configurations, including color+color or color+mono sensors, paired with standard or wide+tele lenses. This allows for exciting effects such as real‑time Depth of Field, remarkable low‑light performance, multi‑frame noise reduction, or up to 10x optical zoom. A single‑camera mode supporting up to 24MP is also available.

    The system supports various sensor types, including dual/2x1 PDAF or 4-cell, while the 3A system includes MediaTek’s Instant Auto Exposure (AE), anti-overexposure hardware, and precise point light focusing. The Instant AE is powered by a new Camera Control Unit (CCU), which provides significantly faster focal correction and exposure adjustments when lighting conditions change abruptly. As a result, AE convergence speed is up to twice as fast as competing auto exposure systems.

    The Imagiq 2.0 suite includes technologies that reduce aliasing, grain, and noise, and offers chromatic aberration correction and motion compensation, in both normal and low-light conditions. Supported by these technologies, the Helio P23 delivers rich details and stunning effects in both photography and video, whenever you need them.

    World’s First Dual SIM, Dual 4G VoLTE/ViLTE

    MediaTek’s latest generation 4G LTE WorldMode modem focuses on a highly power-efficient design. It balances connectivity performance, offering Cat-7 (DL) and Cat-13 (UL) speeds of 300Mbit/s download and 150Mbit/s upload. TAS 2.0 smart antenna technology enhances performance and user experience by selecting the best antenna combination to ensure optimal and sustained signal quality at the lowest power consumption. For the North American market, the new 600MHz band is also supported.

    Dual 4G LTE SIM support enables both VoLTE and ViLTE, ensuring consistent call quality and faster setup times for both SIMs. With 4G LTE, SIM 2 benefits from improved coverage, better reliability, and lower power consumption compared to previous generations.

    Additionally, the Helio P23 platform includes multi-GNSS options (GPS/GLONASS or GPS/BeiDou), Bluetooth, FM radio, and fast 802.11n Wi-Fi.

    Impressively Powerful, yet Power-Efficient

    The eight ARM Cortex-A53 processors operate at up to 2.3GHz (typical) and 2.5GHz (single-core), while MediaTek CorePilot 4.0 technology ensures sustained high performance through power-aware scheduling, thermal management, and UX monitoring, delivering a consistently reliable user experience.

    The GPU has been upgraded to the Mali-G71 MP2, running at up to 770MHz. The latest LPDDR4x memory (up to 6GB) provides a combination of high memory bandwidth and optimal power efficiency, with an LPDDR3 option also available. MediaTek employs the TSMC 16nm FinFET production process, enabling premium performance with efficient battery usage.
