MediaTek has committed to the goal of net zero emissions by 2050. In this drive towards net zero, we aim to reduce total carbon emissions, as part of its deep commitment to sustainability. Reflecting on MediaTek’s commitment to sustainability, Rick Tsai, MediaTek’s Vice Chairman, CEO and Chairperson of the ESG Committee, said: “MediaTek is a global leader of innovative IC design technologies. We deeply recognize our responsibility and commitment to the environment and we continue to drive forward low-carbon sustainability initiatives. ｜MediaTek Net Zero Goals

• By 2030, MediaTek will reduce its GHG emissions in Scope 1 and Scope 2 by 40% from 2020 base year. 
• By 2030, MediaTek will reduce its GHG emissions in Scope 3 by 25% from 2020 base year. 
• By 2030, all MediaTek offices will use 100% renewable energy.
• By 2050, MediaTek will reach net zero GHG emissions.
